Medical Trip To Madagascar
Sep 5 – Sep 12 all-day
Medical Trip To Madagascar

We look forward to another medical mission with Madagascan based “Growing the Nations”. They are currently doing wonder- ful work with children (and their families) with developmental delays, including cerebral palsy and autism, and have requested support in this area. A holiday camp providing fun and sup-

port for the children, as well as input and training for parents and caregivers, is set to take place in Antananarivo – as well as a possible medical outreach to Tamatave (east coast). More details to follow. We are looking for qualified occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, physiotherapists, speech and language therapists or special education teachers to join us.

Please note: We never ever want finances to be a barrier for people to get involved and serve, so if you have limited financial means but would like to participate, please speak to an elder/leader in your community so we can make a plan regarding sponsorship.

Collaboration Schools @ Common Ground Rondebosch (Small Hall)

Collaboration Schools @ Common Ground Rondebosch (Small Hall) | Cape Town | Western Cape | South Africa
If addressing the education crisis in South Africa lights a fire inside of you, and YOU want to be part of this story – join us on Monday, 5 September at 7pm in the Small Hall at 23 Milner Road, Rondebosch.
Common Good is the third NGO that has been selected to participate in the Collaboration Schools pilot. An initiative started by a group of pioneers, investors from the private sector and the Western Cape Education Department that aims to bring fresh flexibility, accountability and capacity into non fee paying schools with the aim of giving learners access to the education they need to nurture and realise their God given potential.
At this event we will be watching The Good Ones – a magnificent documentary of what is possible in schools in this country, followed by a presentation on Common Good’s involvement in the collaboration school initiative.

Please register your attendance to this event by emailing info@commongood.org.za
