“The word of God is alive and active” (Hebrews 4:12).

From Sunday the 9th September we embark on a 6-week journey through Hebrews chapter 10:19 – 13:25
We have created a 30 day Hebrews devotional study which we want the whole church to start reading together from Monday 10th September. It will be free on our website or available for purchase on Sundays or at the church office for an optional donation of R20 to help cover printing costs.

We challenge every Common Grounder to work through it daily, and also to bring it to both life groups and Sundays as, together, we delve yet deeper into Hebrews. There are spaces each week to take notes on Sundays.

Each Sunday we will be asking the preacher to take one of the 5 devotions from the week that has passed, and open it even further to show people how deep scripture is and how much we can take out of it.

Join us on Sunday to hear our first message of this series or click here to download your devotional.

An Overview Of The Book Of Hebrews

This video was shown in week one of our Hebrews series. It covers the literary design of the book of Hebrews and its flow of thought. In Hebrews the author (unknown) shows how Jesus is the ultimate revelation of God’s love and mercy and is worthy of our devotion.
