There’s something wrong with our culture’s definition of what makes a real man – one who gets what he wants. One who has achievement trophies, a ripped body, good looks and lots of sex. One who can throw a punch or ten, unnerve other men, hold his drink, and carve out his own path without even asking the advice of others. By this standard Samson in the Bible is the ultimate man. But if you have read Judges 13-16, you’ll know there’s another side to the story. For four weeks we explore the deadly weaknesses of the Bible’s strongest man. As we do, we hope our hidden weaknesses get exposed, and replaced with God’s strength.
