Monthly Fees

R 4 000 per month for 11 months (i.e. R44 000pa)

(This does not include personal costs such as accommodation, food, etc.)

Extracurricular activities

These are above and beyond the monthly fee.

(The average student budget breakdown in Cape Town, is attached to the application form)

International mission trips

Costs are not included in year/monthly fees.

Application process opens

  • 15th of April 2020

Application process closes

  • 31st of October 2020 (SA applicants)

  • 30th of April 2021 (International applicants)

Application process:

  • Step 1: Online application

    • Complete the online application form HERE

    • Submit a motivational letter with the application form written by yourself

    • Submit a reference letter with the application form written by your reference

  • Step 2: Attach pastoral letter to the online application

    • Ask your current pastor or elder at your church to write a letter of recommendation for you. They can email the letter directly to academy@commonground.co.za with your name, surname and the Leadership and Life Academy as the subject.

  • Step 3: Interview Process

    • Once your completed application form has been received, you will be contacted by Common Ground Church to schedule interview appointments (either face-to-face or via Skype or telephonically if you are not from Cape Town).

  • Step 4: Acceptance notification

    • You will receive notification as to whether your application has been successful or not in the weeks following after the interview has taken place.
