Recovery from Divorce and Separation
This course is aimed at anyone, men and women, of any age, who have experienced or are experiencing the pain and devastation that accompanies separation and divorce – whether recent or years ago.
The course is run over 6 weeks on a Wednesday evening, from 7pm-9pm. Currently it is held at Common Ground Church, 23 Milner Rd, Rondebosch .
Topics covered during the course include:
- Facing the effects of what has happened
- Communication and Conflict resolution
- Letting go
- Managing other relationships, (extended family, in laws etc.)
- Financial issues and budgeting
- Being single and moving forward
You will hear stories from others who have walked the road and experienced the pain and the misery, but who have found resolution and healing. You will meet individuals who will identify with you and with what you are going through, as well as understand your confusion and anger. The groups are small and facilitator led, and you will likely meet new friends and experience feelings of accepted. We trust you will find hope and support for the future as you learn to accept your new reality, and adjust to the changes and challenges of singleness.
